This poster of Franklin D. Roosevelt depicts a drawing of him set against a cream colored background with the headline "A GALLANT LEADER" printed in bold capitalized letters. The bottom caption says, "FRANKLIN D. ROOSEVELT." There is a union label printed in the lower right corner which reads "S. A. No. 1 / Union Label / New York / registered / L.I.P & B.A." The signature in the drawing itself is that of artist J.H. Perskie who painted portraits for FDR for the 1936 race. "Copyright" is written beneath the artist's name on the drawing. Roosevelt has signed the campaign poster at the bottom center, a clean, handsome example!
