NIXON, Richard Milhous (1913-1994) was the 37th president of the United States from 1969 to 1974. He had previously served as the 36th vice president of the United States from 1953 to 1961, and prior to that as both a U.S. representative and senator from California. Large color photograph 13-1/8”x7-1/4” with inscription by President Nixon in large portion of the mount “To Ambassador and Mrs. George Landau With appreciation for your dedicated service to the country. Richard Nixon.” Photo and inscription are light, else very good condition. George Walter Landau (1920-2018) was an American diplomat who served as the United States Ambassador to Paraguay, Chile, and Venezuela.
