Manuscript voucher signed “Ja. J. Dolan, Mngr.”, 6” x 3”, June 8, 1888, in full, “Rosenthal & Co., Please pay to the order of Pedro Zamora the sum of 13.92 for 12 days Labor with cattle. Charge to Felix Cattle Co. ” The Santa Fe Ring, led by Lawrence Murphy and James J. Dolan (a.k.a. "The House") was accused of rustling cattle from Chisum and his ally, John Tunstall. Tunstall's assassination prompted the Lincoln County War, leading to the hiring of Billy the Kid & the Regulators.
