The four piece grouping consists of; (1) Mounted albumen photograph,, 6” x 8”, to larger mount of Rastall on horse back, rifle and rope strapped to the saddle, rocky background. the reverse has manuscript identification, “Captain Chas. W. Rastall, USI Agent, Cheyenne River Agency, S.D.”. Nice image, lacks contrast. ... plus, (2) White House Typed letter Signed, Oyster bay, NY., August 9, 1907, signed by President Roosevelt’s secretary, advising that the President will take up the matter of Rastall’s appointment. ....plus, (3) Document “Certificate of Settlement of Account”, October 17, 1927, certifying the Hoopa Valley Indian School account under Rastall’s supervision. ... plus, (4) Typed Letter Signed, War Department San Francisco, July 24, 1930 from Captaim “T.R. Sharp” to Rastall accepting an invitation to accompany Rastall to Crater Lake.
