Photograph of “Three Famous Characters of the Old West” 8”x10” black and white, and depicts Co. H. Edwin Mootz, Col. E.D. Nix, and Col. B.R. Pearson. c. 1940s. Fine condition. Dix was United States Marshal. H. EDWIN MOOTZ, former two-gun frontiersman. One of his earliest recollections, in fact, is of the night when Jesse James and his brother, Frank, spent the night in a hotel run by Mootz's mother in Ellinwood, Kansas. B.R. Pearson was better known as Idaho Bill.
