The comb is 4” x 12” T with a carving of a bare breasted, seated woman on the handle. Ten teeth comb has dark patina. This richly carved Asante comb, expresses authority, wealth, initiation stage, marital status, and provides adornment for beauty.This comb is of exceptional quality, age and craftsmanship and infers someone of great status within the tribe owned it.
