Four manuscript reports issued by Young Men’s Society of Detroit. Each of the lengthy reports are ribbon bound. The dates of issue are December 13, 1836 (8pp.), December 37, 1837 (18pp.,), November 1840 (32pp.) and December 9, 1841 (18pp.). Each report is doceted by John G. Atterbury. Atterbury was born in Baltimore in 1811 and came to Detroit for his health and to practice his profession in 1836. The YMCA was established in America in 1844.
