This is a unique grouping of 7 different paper imprints struck from period wood blocks. the images include; "A Cotton Gin" with copy of the page which used the wood block; "negroes Gathering Cotton in the Field" with copy of the page which used the wood block; 2 different sized woodcuts for Uncle Tom (likely used in theater programs); two different woodcuts of runaway slaves, one a man with a knap sack over the shoulder, the second a woman holding her knapsack; Early slave restraint, the gruesome mask and collar.
