Rare war-date albumen photograph of a camp scene depicting seven Union soldiers and three slaves, two of whom are standing in field dress, the third is more well-dressed wearing a kepi and holding an open book in his hands. Excellent photograph of freed slaves employed by the occupying Union forces. Photo measures 8"x6" and affixed to card stock. Housed in period frame. Very good condition.
