Ku Klux Klan silk ribbon, 1-3/8"x3-1/4", "LONE PINE PARK Camden County, N.J. Suburban Unit KKK 100% with American flag pin attached. c. 1920s. Very good condition. The first local chapter of the KKK in New Jersey was organized in 1921, after units had started in New York and Pennsylvania. In May 1926, birth control advocate and Planned Parenthood progenitor Margaret Sanger once spoke to a meeting of the women's chapter of the Klan in Silver Lake, New Jersey.
