WILCOX, Cadmus Marcellus (1824-1890) was a career United States Army officer who served in the Mexican-American War and also was a Confederate general during the American Civil War. Autograph Letter Signed "C.M. Wilcox" 2pp. octavo, Washington, September 3, 1890, and reads "I send two autographs, one as Major Genl in the late Confederate States Army, the other without such rank. General Lindsay L. Lomax's address is Blacksburg, Virginia. General Law lives in South Carolina, his address I do not know..." Fine condition.
