MCCOOK, Alexander McDowell (1831-1903) was a career United States Army officer and a Union general in the American Civil War. Autograph Letter Signed "A. McD. McCook" as Brigadier General, 1pp. octavo, on Headquarters Department of Arizona, Los Angeles, California, February 2, 1893, addressed to R.R. Wall of Ohio, and reads in part: "...I cannot advise you where to see for President Lincoln's autograph..." Fine condition.
