A great war-date original Confederate artwork watercolor, measuring 2 5/8" x 3 3/8" (sight) depiction of the Second Confederate National flag (known as the stainless banner), signed "C. D." on lower right corner, framed with original paper backing with period brown ink inscription reading, "The Last Flag adopted by The Confederate States of America, 1865 A. D." A handsome display piece most certainly done by a proud ex-Confederate soldier. Not examined out of frame. Overall VG.
