CARRINGTON, William (1838-1913). In 1861, he came South volunteering his services to the Confederate States. He was assigned to the hospital corps in Richmond. Manuscript, November 8, 1864, 2pp, requesting supplies for Nov.1st thru Dec 1st. by the Surgeon in Charge, H.D. Falinguro to the Medical Director, who approves in docket on the reverse, ""Wm. D. Carrington".
