Confederate Document Signed "W.W. Perryman Col. Comdg Bat." 1pp. folio, being a "Report of Persons & Articles employed & hired in Division No 1. during the month of December 1864 by Capt. K.L. Simons A.C.S. C.S.A." listing fifty-three (53) employees with occupations, rate of pay and employment area listed. Included are Federal Prisoners (Galvanized Yankees) and ten slaves with their owner's names recorded as well as four free men of color who are listed as mechanics. Fine condition.
