c. 1776 American Revolutionary War, Partially-Printed Document, “Weekly Return” Form, for an American Continental Army Regimental Company of Foot, Very Fine. This is an original, 8.25” x 3.5” Printed Form of a type used by various Company Captains in the American Army under General George Washington, to report to their regimental commanders the status of, and various changes within their units. Included are areas for the numbers of soldiers in the Company and Regiment, plus the name of the Company Captain, and various categories, including “Dead,” “Discharged,” “Deserted,” etc. This original form is somewhat heavily toned in places while remaining nice, clean and bright in others. A rare and seldom-encountered historic authentic Revolutionary War document.
