Connecticut, May 1789, Partly-printed Document Issued by Oliver Wolcott Jr. as Comptroller of Connecticut, made out to James Wells, Lieutenant at Valley Forge, Fine. This historic form is completed in manuscript for £2 10s, measuring 2.75" x 7.5", boldly printed on bright crisp period laid paper. Wolcott, Jr. would serve as Secretary of the Treasury under George Washington and John Adams.
