Last Will and Testament of Joel Noel, state of Kentucky, December 19, 1815, 4pp., a few splits but very readable. The writer leaves nearly all to his beloved wife Tabitha Noel. In small part, “I also give and bequest unto my said beloved wife Tabitha Noel, my negro woman Molly to her and her heirs forever. Whereas I have in my charge several young negroes (of the estate of John Steel, dec’d) to be raised until they are twenty one years of age. I give to my wife the benefit of the services of Hubbard and Jane until they arrive to the age of twenty one years ....”
