Walker a private in ...Ramsay's Battery ...Mississippi Vols. a Paroled Prisoner of the Army commanded by Gen. J.E. Johnston, has permission to go to his home, and there remain undisturbed, on condition of not taking up arms against the United States until property relieved on the obligation of his parole..." with AES on verso "Office Pro. Mar. Post Montgomery, Montgomery, Ala, May 10th 1865 Reported this day Chas. Scott Capt 8th Iowa Infty. Pro. Mar." Fine condition.
