Mounted albumen photo, 7-1/2" x 5-1/2" to larger mount with caption "Camp of 2nd Brigade (Gen Hazens), Readyville, Tenn., 2nd Division 27th AC., From sketch of J.M. Pratt, 9th Indiana". There is a unique manuscript photographer's mark, "S.M. Hacaam, Photographer, Elkart Ind." In the foreground is a bridge over a river and a barn. In the background is the Union camp site. James M. Pratt enlisted 9/5/1861 into "K" Co. IN 9th Infantry, re-enlisted on 12/12/1863, was mustered out on 9/28/1865. General Hazen would be promoted to Major General and was at the surrender of Johnston.
