c. 1860 Civil War Era, Vintage Tintype Photograph showing a Young Child on Toy Horse, Very Fine. An exceptional image Tintype Photograph of a young child on his toy horse, slightly larger than a typical sixth plate Tintype, measuring 2.5 x 3.5". The young child is dressed in white with a matching hat, shown sitting on a toy horse on wheels that was propped up onto a wooden box apparently for a better "shot" in studio setting. Slightly trimmed corners tips from prior display, the metal has some scattered shallow dents which do not affect the image itself. A great image rarity.
