Political Print 8-1/2" x 10-7/8", withdrawn from Punch, November 9, 1861, VG. Titled, "The Genu-ine Othello" with caption "Othello: Keep up your bright swords, for de dew will rust dem ... both you ob my inclining, and de rest." (The quote is taken from Shakespeare's Othello, Act 1, scene 2). The American slave stands between Presidents Lincoln and Davis, each with drawn swords.
