Confederate Document Signed, "Geo. Sandoe" the telegraph operator in Abingdon, Virginia, 1p folio, being a list of the costs of Confederate military telegraphs incurred for a five day period in April 1864, and lists the officer sending, the officer receiving, where from, where to and cost. Total amounted to $125.02, including an amount due from Bristol, Tennessee. Sandoe pens at bottom "Received Abingdon, Va. May 3d 1864 of Capt Isaac Shelby Jr. C.S. Fifty dollars 02/100 if full of the above a/c." The entries re light yet legible.
