Colonel Ephraim Blaine (1741-1804) was an early Pennsylvania settler who served as commissary-general for the middle district of the Continental Army under General George Washington. Document signed by attorney David Kennedy attesting that the April 3, 1769 entry "Ephraim Blaine, 300, On the East side of Brushy run and both sides of the great road leading to Ft, Pitt" is a true copy of the Entry in Application Book, page 166.
