Music Sheet, titled "God Save the Southern Land.", 9-1/2" x 12", 1864, Richmond, lithographed by Geo. Dunn & Compy., 4pp. VG. The cover features an illustration of a shield with an "x" and stars on it. There are two banners on either side of the shield with text on them. The banner on the left reads, "Words & Music Adapted from an English Ballad by Chaplain Cameron C.S.A." The banner on the right reads, "Respectfully Dedicated to the Soldier's Friend Mrs. J. Peterkin." "To Be Sold for the Benefit of Soldiers and Needy Families" is printed below the illustration.
