The sword has the Ames Mfg. Co. Chicopee Mass ID at the hilt, blade is 30”, grip is tightly wound with 15 wraps of twisted wire, the blade etching is at 20%. The supple leather scabbard fits snugly, the brass fittings are present, as is the Ames imprint. Nice example.
