The issue is filled with Lincoln Assassination reports and close of the War reporting. From the front page, stacked headlines, "NORTH CAROLINA, Gen. Johnston's Surrender, 25,000 Men and All Rebel Artillery to be Given Up at Greensborough". From page 8, "The Assassination, Details of Booth's Death,". Also, "The Sultana Calamity, 1500 Lives Lost".
