Good 1860's stereoview the steamer Bristol by E. & H. T. Anthony, New York with paper label on verso reading: "Partial View of the "Sound Steamer" "Bristol." Built by the Merchants Steamship Company of Rhode Island, at the end of the Civil war, she cost a staggering $1,250,000 at the time of her completion in 1866.
