CDV of John Greenleaf Whittier, neck up, backmark, Warrens Boston. Its condition is excellent, with clear image, and a small mark in the upper right. He is identified in pencil on the back. John Greenleaf Whittier (1807-1892) was an influential American Quaker poet and ardent advocate of the abolition of slavery in the United States.
