Striking Patriotic Painting, 42” x 28-1/2” (site) tacked into a period oak frame. Half of the image area is taken with a gorgeous eagle in flight carrying the American flag in her claws. Below her is a colorful mountain range with the rising sun and the rays into the blue sky. Above the sun is the word “LIBERTY” . Brilliant colors, a few stains add character to the oiled paper. VG
