Pair of Virginia coat buttons showing Virginia coat of arms with the motto, "Virginia. Sic Semper Tyrannis" along the rim. Manufactured prewar by Horstmann & Allen, N. Y. and used by a loyal Virginian during the war. From the estate of a Confederate veteran from the Shenandoah Valley.
