A complete and authentic issue of the Daily Picayune, New Orleans, March 17, 1854, 4pp., disbound, VG. The issue displays TEN illustrated runaway slave ads, THREE of which are for runaway slave WOMEN; one is for American mulatto Susan, slightly yellow complexion, fine eyes and handsome face, $25 reward .... plus, Sarah, stout but well formed, $10 reward ... plus, Sarah, a light mulatto girl with blue eyes, might easily pass for white, $100 reward.
