A rare Robert E. Lee salt print albumen CDV on coated blockade run mount, inscribed, in period pencil, on lower mount, "Robert E. Lee, Genl. C. S. Army." While the verso, the same hand, indicates that the image was purchased at Mobile, Alabama on Dec. 19, 1864. Overall VG.
