A pair of pewter peace medal restrikes: "George Washington President of the U.S., 1789" with left facing profile of Washington. Circulated, c1900, 2-3/4' diameter. ... plus, "James Madison President of the U.S.A. 1809," with right facing bust profile of Madison. Circulated, c1880, 2-1/4" diameter. Both have the "Peace and Friendship" hands shaking on the reverse. Both have previous mounting drill holes.
