Lacquered, two piece, with "America Shows to the World the trophy of her victories." The Circular papier-mGchT snuffbox displays the allegorical figures of Victory/Gabriel and Columbia gesturing towards armor, cannon, swords, and flags. A vintage memento from the Revolutionary War era, dated by the use of "America" as Indian Princess imagery, most likely commemorating the Battle of Yorktown.
