Issued by the Central Rail Road & Bank'g Co., Savannah, December 19, 1861, "Will pay the bearer TWO DOLLARS in Confederate Treasury Notes, when presented in sums of five Dollars and upwards." Ink signed. Unique in that the note is printed on remnants of other notes. It was a common practice to print notes on the backs of other notes due to the shortage of bank note paper in the South during the Civil War.
