Pair of wrist shackles 12” long, taken from the New Jersey Governor’s Mansion Abraham Lincoln Exhibit. Fine condition.The consignor is a nationally known Lincoln Collector who will supply a statement which in essence will attest to the history of these shackles. These shackles were exhibited in the Lincoln exhibit this in 2017 at the New Jersey Governor’s Mansion, Drumthwacket. They came from the estate of the late Chuck Bechtloff of Huntington Beach, CA and had also been exhibited in his museum and loaned as part of installations at the Huntington and Ronald Reagan Library. They were bought by Mr. Bechtloff from Norm Flayderman in the 1980s.
