In part, “Know by all men present that I Anderson Page ... did on the 15 day of April 1838 did let up and sell before the courthose .... being sale day to the highest bidder for Ready money the following to wit a man name Lemon, a woman name Creese and a boy named Henderson for the sum of Eight Dollars being the right and title in trust of William Duffy in said nigro in John Hartfield last will sold at the insistant of A.G Drake .... which I warrant and defend .... Anderson Page.
