Gesso frame is 20” x 18” and has 35 cavities for 1/9 plate photographs. Yep, 35 cavities divided by rope wood molding. We have not removed the images from the frame nor from their brass preserver, but it appears that the majority are ambrotypes and tintypes, perhaps one daguerreotype. Very nice
