Stereoview card "Gen'l Stevens and His Staff, at Beaufort, S.C.", number 163 in the Photographic Incidents of the War series, published by E. & H.T. Anthony. Minor scuff to mount, otherwise in excellent condition. Isaac Ingalis Stevens (1818-1862) was an 1839 graduate of West Point, seeing action in many battles during the Mexican-American War. He was killed early in the Civil War at the Battle of Chantilly.
