An authentic and complete issue of The New York Times, April 21, 1865, 8pp., complete mourning-ruled, never bound, untrimmed, crisp. From the front page, stacked headlines "THE ASSASSINS, Capture of One of the Murders, Atzerdot Arrested near Baltimore, Booth at Large, Fifty Thousand Dollars Reward Offered ... for the Arrest of Booth." The newspaper is filled with Lincoln assassination reports. As example, on page two, "Services in the Synagogues" a 1/2 column summation of the various synagogues in NYC. ... and on page 3, "The Murder of Mr. Lincoln. An Extraordinary Letter of John Wilkes Booth, runs 2/3 column and is signed in type by the assassin.
