Mounted albumen photograph, 12-1/2” x 10” (to larger mount), titled “View of the Seventh New York Regiment, Colonial E. Clark, Commanding,” published 1886 by “US Inst. Photo Co.,” 1886. The caption offers more, “Drawn up in front of the Tomb, preparatory to receiving the great Funeral Cortege, when it shall enter the park. ...” the Obverse side has a second mounted photo of an engraving titled “2d Connecticut Regiment, N.G., Col. W.J. Leavenworth commanding ...” Both images are near fine, the mount shows minor chips at edges which easily will mat out.
