FRANKFURTER, Felix (1882-1965) Law teacher and judge. He studied at the College of the City of New York and at Harvard, taught at Harvard Law School (1914-1939). Served as an associate justice of the United States Supreme Court (1939-62). He founded the American Civil Liberties Union, though he advocated judicial restraint in opposing legislative and executive policy. Large framed photograph, 12" x 16" site, in larger matted frame, show the justice in robes, signed "Felix Frankfurter" lower right margin. VG.
