Lacquered black wooden pencil box, 8" x 2-1/2" x 1-1/2", with three interior compartments. The domed painted lid shows fantastic full-color baseball team complete with period uniformed players dressed in white, with each of the nine players identified by position. There are some points of discoloration on the lid but they are relatively minor and do not really detract significantly from the overall majesty of the piece.
