This is copy of the flag that was in President Lincoln's box at Ford's theater, 72" x 72". Dramatically associated with the close the war, this flag decorated the front of the Presidential box at Ford Theater, in Washington, D.C. on the night of April 14th, 1865. Booth, President Abraham Lincoln's assassin, caught his spur and tore the original flag as he jumped from the Presidential Box to the stage below. This flag was used in the 2007 Nicolas Cage film "National Treasure-Book of Secrets", used in the film scene like the actual flag in Ford's Theater, where Booth jumps from Lincoln's box catching his spur on the flag causing him to break his leg when he hits the stage below. Movie flag even has the edge tear like the original from the spur. "Sic Semper Tyrannis!".
