A Pair of 1880s Raphael Tuck & Sons Gigantic Series, die cut Santa Claus, 6" x 13", gorgeous and beautiful litho!Raphael Tuck & Sons was a business started by Raphael Tuck and his wife in Bishopsgate in the City of London in October 1866. In 1880, son Adolph launched a nationwide contest offering 5,000 guineas in prizes for the best Christmas designs. Over five thousand paintings were said to have been entered in the contest.
