Pennsylvania Packet or General Advertiser, Dated July 15, 1780 complete original four-page newspaper, with a handsome ornate masthead, filled with news of the Revolutionary War. This newspaper was printed by John Dunlap, the printer of the original broadside of The Declaration of Independence and includes inside references to the fighting around Charleston, South Carolina between the British and American forces. The front page has references to Continental and Pennsylvania currency, while the back page has ads for the sale of a slave and the return of a runaway slave.
