Self covering letter datelined Plymouth (NC), 10th July, 1822 and addressed to Petersburg, Virginia, having a red sawtooth circular date stamp, EDENTON, N.C., and manuscript" 12-1/2". This scarce postmark has an ACC value of $200. In the one page letter, John Peck of Plymouth is writing to Mr. E. Augustus Russell about the sale of corn. Very fine.
