Hand-sewn 13- star Confederate National flag, 22-1/8"16-3/4", designed after Kentucky had been admitted to the Confederacy in December, 1861. This fine cotton fabric flag, has hand cut and crafted stars, sewn to both sides of the blue field, with red (now orange) and white stripes. Small holes at top and bottom, where it was pulled from its staff, leaving the ties on the wood, and taken home to Maine as a war trophy. Some light soiling, has certainly been flown over the land of Dixie. Certified by Fonda Thompson. Fine.
