very fancy printed (red and green) invitation card (3 ¼ x 5 ½) to be held by "MONTEFIORE LODGE NO. 54 I.O.B.B. [B'Nai B'rith] at Garrett's Hall" with names of the "Committee of Arrangements" and price of tickets for "gentleman and two ladies." Issued to "Rev. ISAAC LEESER." Exc.+ condition. Very minor edge tear bottom margin. Reverse with neatly penned note and signature of the Chairman of that CLEVELAND, OHIO LODGE, BENJAMIN F. PEIXOTTO (well respected diplomat, Jewish communal leader and merchant); Cleveland printer signature on bottom edge.
